In the last 4 years,
- Did you drive your own vehicle to the work sites?
- Did you work at different sites?
- Did you pay for your own travel such as fuel or public transport?
- Were you paid by PAYE (on the books with payslips)?
If Yes is the answer to all the questions above, then you're about to take your steps towards claiming your PAYE tax refund.
You may be eligible!
Even if part of your travel expenses are paid for by your employer or if you've taken any form of public transport, you're still eligible to claim a PAYE tax refund
At Express Tax Claims, on an average, we claim back £1,200* per person per year for PAYE Construction workers. If you've never claimed a refund in the past 4 years, your first refund could be well over £4,000. We get paid only when you get your refund.
(*Data based on the refunds received by our clients during the year to 5 April 2013 in relation to construction workers' expenses claims for 2011/12 only)
What do you have to do?
You leave all the hard work to us. Provide us with all the information we need and we will estimate the costs you may have incurred and in turn, calculate your rebate. We will take care of all the documentation.
Once all the work is completed, we will submit your claims to the tax authorities and follow on the status of your claim. Once your claim has been received by us, we will send it out to you after deducting our fees.
